Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of 9Recall ("9Recall", "we", "us"), a skill-based memory competition. By creating an account or playing, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Who we are

9Recall is an online skill game where 25 players memorize a pattern on a grid and reproduce it faster and more accurately than their opponents. Outcomes are determined by skill — memory, speed and accuracy — not by chance. There is no random number generator deciding winners.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use 9Recall. Availability may be restricted in some jurisdictions; you are responsible for ensuring your use is lawful where you live.

3. Your account

• Provide a valid email and choose a public username (3–16 characters: a–z, 0–9, underscore). Keep your credentials secure — you are responsible for activity on your account.
• One account per person. Don't impersonate others or pick offensive usernames.
• We may suspend accounts that break these terms or the fair-play rules.

4. Fair play & simulated opponents

• No automation, scripts, injected inputs, or third-party tools that assist play. Server-side anti-cheat rejects physically impossible inputs and flags suspicious behaviour.
• Lobbies may include simulated opponents (bots) so that matches start quickly and lobbies stay full. Bots are clearly labelled with a BOT badge in the in-match player list. The number of bots in a completed match is recorded and visible in that match's result.
• The server is authoritative: it generates the pattern, times every action, and decides every outcome. Full match replays are stored and can be reviewed.

5. Acceptable use

Don't attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service. Rate limits and other protections apply.

6. Service "as is"

The preview is provided "as is", without warranties. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from use of a free preview.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected here with a new date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
